Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 2¼ cups
- Ground Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda 2 teaspoons
- Spices ½ teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root ¾ teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Ground clove ½ teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil ½ cup
- Butter 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 1 cup
- Egg white 1 piece
- Black Pomegranate Molasses ½ cup
- Granulated sugar ¼ cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, spices, cloves, and salt.
Step 2
Using a mixer, beat the butter and brown sugar until creamy. Add the egg and molasses and mix well again. Then fold in the flour.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Step 4
Take 1 teaspoon of dough and, using wet hands, form round patties. Roll one side in granulated sugar and place them sugar side up on a baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cool for 1 minute. Transfer to a plate.
