Description
Cookies with Condensed Milk
Ingredients
- Egg white 3 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Margarine 5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 0 lbs
- Sweetened Condensed Milk with Coffee 1 can
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar. Whisk for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Melt the margarine or butter over low heat. Cool and pour into the egg-sugar mixture. Mix well. Add baking soda. Gradually add flour and knead a flexible dough.
Step 3
Roll out the dough into a sheet. Use cookie cutters or a glass to cut out shapes.
Step 4
Now take a small round cutter and cut out the centers of half of the shapes.
Step 5
Place the prepared cookies on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 390°F for 20–25 minutes. Remove the baked cookies from the oven and let them cool.
Step 6
Open the can of boiled condensed milk (if unavailable, you can boil regular sweetened condensed milk in an unopened can for 2 hours over low heat).
Step 7
Generously spread the cooled whole cookies with condensed milk. Top with the cookies that have the centers cut out and press down to let the condensed milk ooze out. Collect any excess condensed milk with a spoon. Repeat this with all prepared shapes.
Step 8
Place the finished cookies in the refrigerator for a while to cool.
