Cold Melon Soup
Ingredients
- Sugar 0 oz
- Dry White Wine 0 fl oz
- Watermelon 1 piece
- Basil 1 bunch
- Lemon ½ piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the granulated sugar into a pot, add 120 ml of drinking water, and heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
Step 2
Cut the small melon in half and remove the seeds. Scoop out the flesh and place it in a blender.
Step 3
Pour the sugar syrup into the blender, add the wine and basil. Add ice. Blend well until pureed. Taste and add lemon juice if desired.
Step 4
Pour into soup bowls and garnish with basil.
