  • Egg white 3 pieces
  • Whole egg 2 pieces
  • Powdered Sugar 0 oz
  • Cream 20 fl oz
  • Coconut Milk 5 fl oz
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 340°F. Grease a ceramic baking dish with butter.

Step 2

Whisk the eggs, egg yolks, and powdered sugar together.

Step 3

Heat the cream and combine it with the egg mixture. Add the coconut milk and stir.

Step 4

Pour the batter into the dish, then place it in a high-sided baking tray. Fill the tray with hot water halfway up the dish. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool and refrigerate.

Step 5

Grease the tray with butter. In a saucepan, add the sugar and cook over low heat for 10 minutes until the sugar melts. Increase the heat and boil until golden caramel for about 30 seconds. Immediately pour into the tray and let it set. Crush the set caramel in a blender to a powder.

Step 6

Sprinkle the powder over the surface of the cream and place the dish in the oven for 1-2 minutes. Cool.
