Cocoa and Cinnamon Spiral Cookies
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
- Cocoa Powder 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cream the room temperature butter with the powdered sugar.
Step 2
Add the eggs and mix well.
Step 3
Sift 300 grams of flour and knead the dough. If it becomes too sticky, add more flour.
Step 4
Divide the dough into two equal parts. Add cocoa to one part and cinnamon to the other; knead well. Roll both parts of the dough into a rectangular sheet about 5 mm thick.
Step 5
Place the chocolate sheet on top of the vanilla one and roll it into a log. It's better to roll on silicone; in this case, the vanilla and chocolate sheets can simply be folded like a book.
Step 6
Put the log in the freezer for 20 minutes. Then remove the log and slice it into circles about 1 cm thick with a sharp knife.
Step 7
Place on parchment paper greased with butter, leaving space between them. Bake at 355°F for 20 minutes.
