Pour the sweetened condensed milk into a pot, add the butter, and place it over the heat. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture becomes thick and sticky. Add the shredded coconut, stir well, and remove from heat.
Step 2
Once the mixture has cooled, roll it into balls, placing an almond in the center of each ball, coat them in shredded coconut, and refrigerate until set.
