Classic oatmeal cookies
Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 10 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Water 4 tablespoons
- Vanillin 1 teaspoon
- Ground Oats 15 oz
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
Beat room temperature butter with sugar using a mixer until fluffy. Then add the egg, vanillin, and water. Beat again.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, mix the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Then add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix well.
Step 4
Grease a baking sheet with butter. Scoop the dough with a tablespoon and place it on the baking sheet with plenty of space between each scoop. About 8 cookies can fit at a time. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cookies are golden brown. This should yield approximately 20 medium-sized cookies.
Step 5
After baking, cool on a rack until firm.
