Description
Hummus can be stored in the refrigerator, wrapped in plastic wrap, for up to 2 days.
Ingredients
- Canned chickpeas 15 oz
- Tahini ¼ cup
- Extra virgin olive oil ¼ cup
- Water ¼ cup
- Garlic 1 clove
- Salt ¾ teaspoon
- Ground cayenne pepper a pinch
- Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the chickpeas with water and finely chop the garlic.
Step 2
Blend all the ingredients in a food processor for 40 seconds. Transfer to a bowl and chill for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Serve cold with crackers, pita, bread, or fresh vegetables.
