  • Canned chickpeas 15 oz
  • Tahini ¼ cup
  • Extra virgin olive oil ¼ cup
  • Water ¼ cup
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Salt ¾ teaspoon
  • Ground cayenne pepper a pinch
  • Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the chickpeas with water and finely chop the garlic.

Step 2

Blend all the ingredients in a food processor for 40 seconds. Transfer to a bowl and chill for 30 minutes.

Step 3

Serve cold with crackers, pita, bread, or fresh vegetables.
