Description

Classic cinnamon rolls

Ingredients

  • Milk 5 fl oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 4 glasses
  • Sugar 1½ glasses
  • Vanilla salt 0 oz
  • Cinnamon 6 teaspoons
  • Philadelphia Cheese 5 oz
  • Powdered Sugar 1½ glasses
  • Salt ½ spoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

First, mix the warm milk and yeast.

Step 2

Whisk the room temperature eggs with a mixer until fluffy and frothy.

Step 3

Then add the beaten eggs, 0.5 cup of sugar, 15 g of vanilla sugar, and 3 tablespoons of softened butter (which can be softened in the microwave, just make sure it’s soft and not melted) to the milk and yeast.

Step 4

Add flour and salt to the milk mixture and gently knead the dough. The dough should stop sticking to your hands and have a tender consistency. If it seems too wet, you can add a little more flour, but be careful not to overdo it, as this can make the dough tough when baked.

Step 5

Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

Step 6

Then, sprinkle the table with flour and roll out the dough into a fairly thin sheet.

Step 7

Spread the softened butter (about 4 tablespoons) over the dough. Then generously sprinkle with a mixture of 1 cup of sugar and cinnamon, distributing it evenly across the entire surface of the dough.

Step 8

Roll it up tightly; don't be afraid to do it firmly, as this will ensure the pastries are tender and won't fall apart.

Step 9

Slice the roll with a very sharp knife, being careful not to crush the cinnamon, into pieces about 2–3 cm thick. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the rolls on it. Bake in a preheated oven at 320°F for 30 minutes.

Step 10

Meanwhile, let's prepare the cheese frosting. Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, the remaining softened butter, and 15 g of vanilla sugar. Gently stir until smooth — it's ready.

Step 11

As soon as the rolls are ready, take them out of the oven and drizzle them with glaze while they are still hot.
