Classic chocolate cookies
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Sugar 1 glass
- Cocoa Powder ½ glasses
- Wheat Flour 2 glasses
- Butter 5 oz
- Vanilla extract 1 tablespoon
- Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the dry ingredients — sift the flour with the cocoa powder, then add the baking powder and salt.
Step 2
Beat the eggs with the sugar until fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add room temperature butter. Add vanilla. Beat well.
Step 3
Gradually fold in the dry ingredients. Cover the resulting dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 5
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a teaspoon, place small cookies onto the sheet.
Step 6
Bake for about 8 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, as they will be too soft. Remove from the baking sheet.
