Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Chopped almonds 1 cup
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Vanillin to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the room temperature butter with a mixer, add the brown sugar and powdered sugar, beat again, gently incorporate the eggs and mix until smooth.
Step 2
Dissolve the baking soda in a small amount of water and add it to the flour with salt.
Step 3
Combine the butter mixture with the flour mixture and vanillin.
Step 4
Chop the chocolate into pea-sized pieces and add it along with the nuts to the butter dough. Mix and refrigerate for one to two hours.
Step 5
Scoop the chilled dough with a spoon and shape small balls by hand, placing them on a greased baking sheet with some space between them.
Step 6
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 355°F.
Step 7
Remove and cool on the baking sheet.
