Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Milk 1 cup
- Chestnut flour 1 cup
- Sugar 2 cups
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- 20% Sour Cream 25 oz
- Water 0 fl oz
- Cognac 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place 1 cup of ground cherry flour in a bowl. Bring 1 cup of milk to a boil and pour it over the cherry flour. Cover the bowl with a lid and wrap it in a towel. Let it sit for about 2 hours.
Step 2
When the mixture cools, add three eggs, 1 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 cup of sugar to the cherry mixture. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 3
Bake several thin layers separately — 3-4, depending on the diameter of your pan.
Step 4
Prepare the sour cream frosting — mix 700 grams of sour cream with 2/3 cup of sugar, refrigerate until the sugar dissolves, then stir without whipping.
Step 5
You can also soak the cake with syrup. Boil 60 grams of sugar with 60 ml of water and let it simmer for about five minutes. Cool and add 6 ml of cognac (more can be added if desired).
