Clafoutis with Pears and Dried Cherries
Ingredients
- Butter to taste
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Ground dried cherries 5 oz
- Anjou Pear 1 piece
- 3.2% Milk 5 fl oz
- Cream (40%) 5 fl oz
- Vanilla extract 0 fl oz
- Large eggs 2 pieces
- Sugar 0 oz
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F. Grease a 25 cm round baking dish with butter. Lightly dust with flour and shake off the excess.
Step 2
Transfer the cherries to a bowl and pour boiling water over them. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Peel the pear, remove the core, and cut it in half lengthwise. Then slice it thinly and arrange the slices in a circle in the prepared dish.
Step 4
In a food processor, combine the milk, cream, eggs, vanilla, sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt. Blend well and pour the batter over the pears.
Step 5
Drain the cherries and sprinkle them on top of the batter. Gently press down.
Step 6
Bake until set and golden brown, about 25 minutes. Let cool for about 15 minutes and cut into segments.
