Clafoutis with Cherry or Blueberry
Ingredients
- Cherry 20 oz
- Egg white 3 pieces
- Brown Sugar 8 tablespoons
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the cherries (or blueberries) with sugar and distribute them into molds. Leave in a cool place for 15–30 minutes. You can use less sugar for blueberries, as they are not as sour.
Step 2
Separate the eggs into yolks and whites. Whip the whites until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
Mix the yolks, milk, sour cream, and flour, then gently fold in the whipped egg whites. Everything should be mixed carefully. The batter should be somewhat liquid.
Step 4
Pour the batter over the berries in the molds. Bake in the oven at 355°F for about 25 minutes, until the batter turns golden brown.
Step 5
After baking, let it cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar.
