Ingredients

  • Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
  • Milk 0 fl oz
  • Vanilla salt ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Canned Peaches 30 oz
  • Powdered Sugar 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 390°F. Beat the eggs with a mixer until fluffy. Sift the flour with the baking powder, combine with the eggs, and knead into a thick batter.

Step 2

In warm milk, add the vanilla sugar and granulated sugar, stirring until the granules dissolve completely. Combine with the egg-flour mixture and mix until a smooth, liquid batter forms.

Step 3

Melt the butter and pour it into a round baking dish.

Step 4

Drain the canned apricots in a sieve to remove excess liquid. Then, place the apricot halves cut-side down in the dish on top of the butter. Carefully pour the batter over the apricots and bake in the oven for 30–35 minutes.

Step 5

Remove the finished pie from the oven and let it cool. Then, gently remove it from the dish and transfer it to a large plate. Dust the top with powdered sugar.
