Citrus Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
- Avocado 2 pieces
- Cocoa Powder 3 tablespoons
- Orange zest 1 piece
- Honey 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the ripe avocado around from top to bottom. Twist the two halves apart. Remove the pit. Peel the skin off. Slice the fruit into pieces. Load the slices into a blender.
Step 2
Cut the orange in half. From the center of the orange, cut two thin rounds and set them aside for garnish. Squeeze the juice from the remaining fruit. For the mousse, use 1/3 cup of juice. Add the juice to the avocado. Add cocoa powder and honey. Blend on high speed until you achieve a smooth, thick consistency. Divide the mousse into tea cups and refrigerate for a couple of hours.
Step 3
Serve the mousse garnished with a thin slice of orange.
