Description

Cinnamon and Strawberry Rolls

Ingredients

  • Kefir 10 fl oz
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour 20 oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Brown Sugar 5 oz
  • Cinnamon 2 teaspoons
  • Melted Cheese 0 oz
  • Strawberry 15 oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Cottage cheese 5 oz
  • Powdered Sugar 6 tablespoons
  • Milk 3 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place 50 grams of butter on the stove along with the kefir, 50 grams of sugar, and salt. The butter needs to melt; if the mixture becomes too hot, let it cool before adding the flour with the yeast. The mixture should be warm but not hot.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, yeast, the kefir-butter mixture, and the egg. Stir to combine. Gradually incorporate the flour, but not all of it; the goal is to achieve a dough that does not stick to your hands, otherwise it will be difficult to roll out and the rolls will be tough (the dough should remain slightly sticky). After it rises, it will not be as sticky. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.

Step 3

Roll out the dough into a large rectangle. Mix the brown sugar with the cinnamon. Spread 50 grams of butter over the dough and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon mixture, then distribute the sliced strawberries on top, sprinkle with flour, and roll it up. Cut the roll into pieces with a sharp knife and place them in a greased baking dish.

Step 4

In a blender, combine 50 grams of butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar, adding a few tablespoons of milk.

Step 5

Bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 25 minutes.

Step 6

Allow the rolls to cool slightly and then apply the cream.
