Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Pie
Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Egg white 1 piece
- Self-rising flour 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Ground Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Grease a round pie dish with butter and line it with parchment paper.
Step 2
Using a mixer, beat 60 grams of butter with 115 grams of sugar until creamy. Gradually add the beaten egg and mix well. Add the vanilla and beat again.
Step 3
Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and fold in the sifted flour and milk. Mix well. Pour into the dish and bake for 30 minutes until done. Leave the pie in the dish for 5 minutes, then transfer to a plate.
Step 4
Brush the warm pie with the remaining softened butter and sprinkle with the remaining sugar and cinnamon.
