Chrysanthemums from Dough
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Chocolate eggs 7 pieces
- Cognac 0 oz
- Fatty Beef 20 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Powdered Sugar 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar, add salt and cognac, and mix until smooth.
Step 2
Sift the flour into a bowl, forming a mound. Make a well in the center of the mound and gradually pour in the egg mixture, kneading a stiff dough.
Step 3
Roll out the dough thinly and cut it into rectangles measuring 4x6 cm. Cut the short side into narrow strips 1-2 mm wide and 3 cm long. Roll the uncut side into a tube so that the strips hang freely. Skewering the uncut base of the chrysanthemum onto a fork, dip the chrysanthemum into hot oil and hold it on the fork until it turns golden brown. Then you can fully immerse the chrysanthemum in the fat.
Step 4
Dust the finished dough with powdered sugar.
