Ingredients
- Dried Turkey 30 oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Orange zest 1 piece
- Brandy 5 fl oz
- Butter 10 oz
- Muscovado Sugar 10 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Chopped almonds 0 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Nutmeg 1 teaspoon
- Ginger 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Breadcrumbs 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place chopped dried fruits, lemon juice, orange juice, lemon zest, orange zest, and brandy in a bowl and let sit for 4 days.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 320°F.
Step 3
Grease and line 4 small round pudding molds with parchment paper.
Step 4
Beat the softened butter with sugar until fluffy and gradually add the beaten eggs.
Step 5
Add the chopped nuts and soaked fruits with the liquid.
Step 6
Add the flour, spices, and breadcrumbs. Mix well.
Step 7
Spoon the mixture into the molds. If using round molds, cover one half with the other; if using open molds, cover the top with a sheet of parchment paper and foil.
Step 8
Place the molds on a baking tray filled with 5 centimeters of water and cover with a sheet of thin foil.
Step 9
Bake for 3-4 hours until the pudding is firm. The longer you cook it, the darker it becomes.
