
Christmas Cottage Cheese Cookies with Raisins

Description

Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Sugar ½ cup
- Egg white 1 piece
- Raisins 0 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Vanilla salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soften the butter and mix it with the cottage cheese. In the sifted flour, add vanilla sugar, baking powder, salt, and half of the sugar, mix and combine with the cottage cheese and butter.
Step 2
Knead the dough until it is smooth and does not stick to your hands. You may need more or less flour than indicated, depending on the quality of the cottage cheese and flour.
Step 3
Place the dough in the refrigerator for half an hour. Then roll out to a thickness of 5 mm. Use a cutter to cut out circles.
Step 4
Beat the egg and brush the cut-out circles, then sprinkle with sugar. Place a raisin in the center of each circle and press down slightly.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 390°F for 10–15 minutes.
