  • Butter 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Salt a pinch
  • Egg white 1 piece
  • Powdered Sugar 10 oz
  • Pastry decorations to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Divide the cold butter in half; cream one half with sugar, and melt the other half in the microwave, then incorporate it into the mixture.

Step 2

Add salt, baking powder, an egg, and sifted flour to this mixture.

Step 3

Knead the dough and let it rest for 30–40 minutes.

Step 4

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5–7 mm. Use cookie cutters to cut out the future cookies from the dough.

Step 5

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with butter. Place the cookies on the sheet and prick them lightly with a fork to prevent puffing.

Step 6

Bake at 250 degrees for 7 minutes.

And finally, the last step is to drizzle the cookies with icing and sprinkle with decorative toppings.
