Description

Choux Pastry Cake with Condensed Milk

Ingredients

  • Butter 5 oz
  • Water 15 fl oz
  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Farm fresh eggs 6 pieces
  • Condensed Milk 1 can
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the condensed milk in a separate pot (cook for 2–2.5 hours).

Step 2

In another pot, pour in the water, add the butter and a little salt, and bring to a boil. Then add the flour and stir over low heat until a homogeneous mass forms.

Step 3

Let it cool slightly. Then beat in the 6 eggs, mixing thoroughly after each egg.

Step 4

Preheat a baking sheet and place the dough into sticks, about the thickness of a pinky finger and the length of a pencil (you can use a piping bag).

Step 5

Send to the oven — the sticks will rise and slightly brown; they can be taken out (this took us 20 minutes, but it depends on the oven).

Step 6

Dip each stick in the condensed milk and stack them up.

Step 7

It's better to let them soak overnight or at least for a few hours.
