Ingredients
- Brown Sugar 1 cup
- Sugar ½ cup
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Vegetable Oil ½ cup
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Buttermilk 5 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 2½ cups
- Cocoa Powder ¼ cup
- Ground Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda 2 teaspoons
- Ground clove ½ teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Courgette 1½ pieces
- Mini Chocolate Chips 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the softened butter, both sugars, and vegetable oil. Then add the eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Mix well.
Step 3
In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, allspice, cinnamon, and salt. Then gently fold into the butter mixture and mix well. Add the grated zucchini and chocolate chips.
Step 4
Grease 2 round cake pans (approximately 9 inches in diameter) and divide the batter between them. Bake for 25-30 minutes until done. Cool and frost with any cream.
