Chocolate Truffle 'Grand Marnier'
Ingredients
- Chocolate 20 oz
- 10% cream 10 fl oz
- Cocoa Powder 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Grand Marnier Liqueur 0 fl oz
- Oranges 1 piece
- Orange Syrup 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large saucepan, melt the butter, add the cream and orange peels.
Step 2
Bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat.
Step 3
Remove the peels and add the chocolate. Then add the liqueur and orange extract.
Step 4
Place in the refrigerator, stirring occasionally to keep the mixture uniform.
Step 5
Before shaping the truffles, take the mixture out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes to soften slightly.
Step 6
Using a teaspoon, scoop the mixture and roll it in cocoa powder. Once all the candies are ready, place them back in the refrigerator.
Step 7
To keep the truffles as fresh as possible, dip them in melted chocolate before rolling in cocoa.
