Chocolate Tart with Hazelnuts and Honey
Ingredients
- Hazelnut 5 oz
- Shortcrust Cake Mix 10 oz
- Honey 0 oz
- 10% cream 10 fl oz
- Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Butter 0 oz
- 70% Dark Chocolate 5 oz
- Milk 0 fl oz
- Mulled Wine 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Roll out the pastry and place it in a 23 cm tart pan. Put it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Chop the hazelnuts.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
Step 4
While the crust is baking, mix the nuts with honey and wine. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the nut mixture on top. Set aside.
Step 5
Heat the cream with sugar, and as soon as it starts to boil, remove from heat. Add the chocolate and butter and stir until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Pour in the milk, mix, and fill the tart base with the chocolate mixture over the nut layer.
Step 6
Leave in a cool place, but not in the refrigerator, for 2 hours.
