- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Egg white 4 pieces
- Egg white 6 pieces
- Granulated sugar 2 tablespoons
- Cocoa Powder to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F. Grease the ramekins with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
Step 2
Melt the broken chocolate pieces in a double boiler, remove from heat, and cool for 3 minutes. Stir in the room temperature butter cut into pieces, mixing well with a wooden or silicone spatula. Add the yolks and mix until smooth.
Step 3
Whip the egg whites with sugar until soft peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
Step 4
Pour the 'batter' into the ramekins and bake for 15 minutes. Let the soufflé cool in the closed oven for 10 minutes before serving, dusted with cocoa.
