Chocolate Sherbet with Earl Grey Tea
Ingredients
- Water 30 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Earl Grey Tea 4 pieces
- Cocoa Powder 5 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water, bring to a boil, and remove from heat. Add the tea bags, cover, and let steep for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Remove the tea bags.
Step 3
Place the saucepan over medium heat and add the cocoa powder, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook, stirring, until the mixture thickens slightly, about 20 minutes.
Step 4
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped chocolate. Cool.
Step 5
Transfer to an ice cream maker or container and place in the freezer for a few hours, stirring every 45 minutes.
