Chocolate Salami without Nuts

Description

Ingredients
- Shortbread Cookies 15 oz
- Butter 10 oz
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
- Whole egg 1 piece
- Granulated sugar 2 tablespoons
- Milk 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter over low heat or in a water bath.
Step 2
Add cocoa powder, sugar, and yolk to the warm butter. Mix thoroughly and add milk, mixing again.
Step 3
Break the cookies into small pieces.
Step 4
Add the cookies to the warm chocolate mixture. Mix very well so that all the cookies are coated in chocolate. You can hold back some of the cookies if there are too many.
Step 5
Take some cellophane (like the wrapping used for bouquets). Cut it into small rectangular sheets.
Step 6
When the mixture cools, place it on the cellophane. Form it into logs, wrap it up, and twist the ends like candy.
Step 7
Place in the freezer overnight.
Step 8
Remove and cut. In its sliced form, it closely resembles smoked sausage.
