Description

Chocolate Pillows with Peanut Butter Filling

Ingredients

  • Vegetable Oil ½ cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Honey 5 oz
  • Ground Coffee 4 tablespoons
  • Vanillin a pinch
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Cocoa Powder 5 oz
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
  • Peanut Butter 5 oz
  • Powdered Sugar 7 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the oil, sugar, ¼ cup of honey, and 3 tablespoons of coffee until smooth.

Step 2

Sift the flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt, and a pinch of vanillin on top. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3

For the filling, beat together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons of honey, a pinch of vanillin, and 1–2 tablespoons of coffee. The filling should be thick but not dry.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 355°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll the peanut mixture into 24 balls.

Step 5

Divide the chocolate dough into 24 pieces. From each piece, form a patty and place a ball of filling on top.

Step 6

Fold the edges of the patty over the filling and roll it into a ball so that the peanut filling is completely inside. This is done very easily. Place on the baking sheet, slightly flattening, with about 1.5 cm (0.6 inches) between each.

Step 7

Bake for 10 minutes. Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
