
Chocolate Pear Pie

Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Canned Pears in Light Syrup 15 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Walnuts 5 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Cocoa Powder 1 tablespoon
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Baking Powder 4 teaspoons
- Salt a pinch
- Cinnamon to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the chocolate with the butter in a double boiler, then add the cocoa. Allow to cool.
Step 2
Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet until golden, then chop finely. Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, eggs, cream, melted chocolate, cinnamon, and walnuts—mix thoroughly with a mixer (adding ingredients gradually).
Step 3
Place the pears in a colander to drain the syrup. Pat dry with a paper towel and slice them into thin wedges.
Step 4
Grease a baking tray with butter, line it with parchment paper, and grease it again. Pour in the batter and smooth it out. Arrange the pears on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 40 minutes.
