  • Armagnac 0 fl oz
  • Chopped almonds 0 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
  • Demerara Sugar 10 oz
  • Wheat Flour 0 oz
  • Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Salt ½ teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the chopped prunes in Armagnac overnight.

Step 2

Chop the almonds and roast them in the oven at 355°F for 8 minutes.

Step 3

Place the chocolate and butter in a bowl and set over a water bath. Wait for the chocolate to melt and whisk. Blend all other ingredients, prunes, and nuts until smooth. Mix with the chocolate.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into a buttered mold. Bake at 355°F for 30 minutes.

Let cool, then cut into squares.
