Description
You should end up with about 30 hearts. Use them to decorate cupcakes, pies, cakes, and various desserts.
Ingredients
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Vanilla salt to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Line a baking sheet or work surface with parchment paper and draw hearts on it, then draw a lace pattern inside them.
Step 2
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and let it cool slightly. You can add salt and vanilla to the chocolate for an interesting flavor. Transfer it to a paper piping bag and make a small hole in it.
Step 3
Use the chocolate to draw hearts with a lace pattern inside, but don't make them too thin so they don't break.
Step 4
Chill until set for about 15 minutes and peel off the paper.
