Ingredients
- Milk 20 fl oz
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Corn Starch 0 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Vanilla Pod 3 pieces
- Fresh Mint 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour 2/3 of the milk into a saucepan, add sugar.
Step 2
Slice the vanilla pod in half lengthwise, scrape the seeds from 0.5 of the pod with a knife, and add both the seeds and the pod to the saucepan.
Step 3
Bring the milk to a boil, reduce the heat, and add the broken chocolate (save 1 piece of chocolate for decoration).
Step 4
Mix 1/3 of the milk with the cornstarch, stir well, and add to the boiling milk, stirring vigorously until all ingredients are completely dissolved.
Step 5
Remove the vanilla pod, slightly cool the kissel.
Step 6
Pour the kissel into glasses.
Step 7
Finely chop the remaining piece of chocolate, decorate the kissel with chocolate and mint, and serve.
