Chocolate ganache with orange zest
Ingredients
- 70% Dark Chocolate 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Orange zest 1 tablespoon
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Butter 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, cover it with a glass deep plate. This will be a double boiler.
Step 2
Break the chocolate directly in the packaging, then place it in the plate over the double boiler.
Step 3
Add a pinch of salt and finely grated zest.
Step 4
When the chocolate starts to melt, add the butter, then the milk.
Step 5
Stir until smooth and homogeneous.
Step 6
The ganache can be served warm or chilled for a couple of hours in the refrigerator.
