Chocolate Flan
Ingredients
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Gelatin 5 pieces
- 70% Dark Chocolate 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Whole egg 2 pieces
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water until they swell.
Step 2
Whisk the yolks and one egg with sugar until pale.
Step 3
Bring the milk to a boil, then pour it into the egg mixture in a thin stream, stirring constantly until it thickens.
Step 4
Add the pieces of chocolate to the cream and wait for it to melt.
Step 5
Add the squeezed gelatin. Stir well.
Step 6
Pour the prepared mixture into a mold and refrigerate for 3–4 hours.
Step 7
Dip the mold in hot water for a few seconds to easily remove the flan from the mold.
