Chocolate Cupcakes with Oreo Cookies
Ingredients
- Cocoa Powder ½ cup
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar ¾ cup
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour ¾ cup
- Salt a pinch
- Semi-soft cream cheese 5 oz
- Vanillin a pinch
- Powdered Sugar 0 oz
- Oreo Cookies 15 pieces
- Pastry decorations to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Place paper cupcake liners in the muffin tin.
Step 2
Mix melted butter, cocoa powder, and sugar until smooth. Let it cool slightly. Whisk the eggs and add them to the chocolate mixture. Then add the flour and a pinch of salt. Place one cookie at the bottom of each liner and fill with batter up to ⅔ full. Bake for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, crush 3–4 cookies in a mortar or blender. Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Whisk with a whisk or fork until the mixture is fluffier. Later, add the cookie crumbs and mix again. Place in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
Step 4
When the cupcakes are ready, let them cool. If the tops and cookies have risen too much, press them down while the batter is warm. Decorate the cooled cupcakes with the cream, leftover cookie pieces, or sprinkles.
