Description

Another simple yet beautiful dessert to prepare. For this recipe, choose firm but ripe bananas. Mini bananas are perfect as they look cuter. Also, stock up on various toppings: small candied fruits, coconut and almond crumbles, and special sugar pearls that can be found on baking supply websites.

Ingredients

  • Mini bananas 6 pieces
  • Bittersweet Chocolate 5 oz
  • Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
  • White Chocolate 5 oz
  • Coconut flakes to taste
  • Roasted Peanuts to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Step 2

Trim the ends of the bananas and peel them.

Step 3

Skewer each banana onto a stick or popsicle stick. Place the bananas in the freezer while the chocolate melts.

Step 4

Melt all the chocolate in the microwave, each in a separate bowl. Heat for one minute, then stir and return to the microwave. Continue melting and stirring the chocolate frequently until the mixture becomes liquid and smooth.

Step 5

Dip half of the bananas completely in white chocolate, place them on a rack, and refrigerate to allow the chocolate to set quickly.

Step 6

Dip the remaining bananas in milk chocolate.

Step 7

Sprinkle them with shredded coconut, place on a rack, and refrigerate.

Step 8

Dip the bananas coated in white chocolate into dark chocolate.

Step 9

Sprinkle them with chopped peanuts while the chocolate is still soft. Then, place them in the refrigerator.

Step 10

Serve the chocolate-covered bananas with your favorite drinks.
