Baking and Desserts • European
Description
The entire process of making these delicious chocolate cookies takes no more than half an hour.
Ingredients
- Butter 10 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 tablespoon
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Nuts 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Vanilla salt 1 cup
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Mini Chocolate Chips 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, add 340 grams of softened butter, 150 grams of white sugar, and 150 grams of brown sugar. If brown sugar is unavailable, you can use 300 grams of white sugar instead. Add one packet of vanilla sugar and 0.5 teaspoon of salt. Mix well at high speed.
Step 2
Add the eggs one at a time. Scrape down the sides while mixing manually to incorporate all ingredients. Continue mixing at high speed until you achieve a smooth consistency. This process takes no more than 5 minutes from start to finish.
Step 3
Sift 320 grams of all-purpose flour into the mixture. Gently mix by hand. Add 300 grams of chopped chocolate and 100 grams of nuts. Mix by hand until a uniform dough forms.
Step 4
Using two spoons, drop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving enough space between each cookie.
Step 5
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 355°F for 10–12 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the cookies from the oven — they should be very soft, and you won't be able to transfer them while hot. Let the cookies cool, transfer them to a plate, and serve with tea or coffee.
