Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 3¼ cups
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Dry yeast 2½ teaspoons
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Yogurt powder ½ cup
  • Brown Sugar ¾ cup
  • Ground clove ½ teaspoon
  • Cinnamon 2 teaspoons
  • Nutmeg ¼ teaspoon
  • Mini Chocolate Chips 0 oz
  • Walnuts 0 oz
  • Heavy cream 4 teaspoons
  • Almond 2 tablespoons
  • Powdered Sugar 1 cup
  • Liqueur to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix 1.5 cups of flour with the yeast and set aside.

Step 2

In a saucepan, heat the milk, 75 g of butter, sugar, and salt until the butter melts. Pour into the flour-yeast mixture along with the yogurt. Beat with a mixer on low speed for about 30 seconds, then increase to high speed and beat for 3 minutes.

Step 3

Add the remaining flour as needed (the more, the better from the specified amount).

Step 4

Place the dough on a floured cutting board. Knead until it becomes soft and elastic. Shape into a large ball, place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours.

Step 5

Place the dough on a floured board. Cover and let rest for another 10 minutes.

Step 6

Grease a baking dish with butter. Roll out the dough not too thinly. Mix the brown sugar and spices. Sprinkle this mixture over the dough. Add the chopped chocolate and nuts.

Step 7

Roll it up into a log.

Step 8

Cut into pieces (about 18 pieces).

Step 9

Place the rolls in the dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 to 40 minutes (they should double in size).

Step 10

Brush the rolls with heavy cream and bake at 345°F for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly and remove from the dish.

Step 11

Mix the powdered sugar with almond milk and liqueur. Drizzle the prepared sauce over the rolls.
