Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 10 oz
- Vanilla extract 0 fl oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Cocoa Powder 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix softened butter with sugar until light lemon color.
Step 2
Beat 3 egg yolks, add vanilla extract.
Step 3
Sift flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Add to the egg mixture along with water. Whip the egg whites and fold into the butter mixture.
Step 4
Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll out, and spread the butter filling on each layer. Combine and bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 25 minutes.
Step 5
Cool and drizzle with chocolate glaze or serve with coffee ice cream.
