
Chocolate Cake with Frosting

For the chocolate cake, we prepare chocolate paste and frosting.
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
- Cocoa Powder 4 tablespoons
- Sour Cream 1 can
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder (can be substituted with baking soda), and 4 tablespoons of cocoa.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with sugar until a white foam forms. Then gradually add the flour mixture, stirring to combine.
Step 4
Add the sour cream and mix with a mixer until it reaches a batter consistency.
Step 5
Pour the batter into a baking dish. Bake the cake at 355°F for 30–40 minutes. DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN UNTIL THE CAKE IS READY!
Step 6
Remove the cake, check if it has risen, cut it, and let it cool.
Step 7
Prepare the soaking syrup (strong brewed tea + sugar + alcohol of your choice (vodka, cognac, liqueur, sweet infusion)).
Step 8
Once the cake has cooled, soak it, spread with paste, layer cake — soaking syrup — paste, and so on until all layers are used.
