Chocolate Cake with Cream
Ingredients
- Cocoa Powder 3 tablespoons
- Safflower Oil 0 fl oz
- Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
- Vinegar essence 1 tablespoon
- Water 10 fl oz
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
- Sugar 1 cup
- Wheat Flour 1½ cups
- Chocolate 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cream. Melt the chocolate with 120 ml of water in a double boiler. Cool down. Place in the freezer for 1 hour, stirring every 25 minutes. Whip.
Step 2
Dough. Combine all dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder. In another bowl, mix sugar, oil, 200 ml of water, and vinegar. Add the dry ingredients. Mix well. Bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 35–40 minutes.
Step 3
Cool and cut the cake into 2 layers. Soak with cream. Let it rest.
