Ingredients

  • Butter 5 oz
  • Liquid dark chocolate 10 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 6 pieces
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Cardamom 2 teaspoons
  • Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 355°F. Line a springform baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

Melt the chocolate with the butter in a water bath.

Step 3

Whisk the egg yolks, half of the sugar, and half of the cardamom until pale, thick, and creamy. Add the melted chocolate and mix well.

Step 4

Whip the egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture. Then transfer to the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Step 5

To make the chocolate sauce, bring 100 ml of water to a boil, add the milk chocolate and cardamom, and stir until the sauce is shiny and thick. Serve with the cake.
