Chickpea Candies with Nuts and Cinnamon

Ingredients
- Chickpea ½ cup
- Nuts ¾ cup
- Honey 1½ tablespoons
- Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the chickpeas, cover with cold water, and leave for 12 hours in a cool place.
Step 2
Then drain the water, cover with fresh water, and cook the chickpeas until tender, about 1 hour. The cooked chickpeas should be soft and easily mashable with fingers.
Step 3
Drain the water, dry the chickpeas, and let them cool.
Step 4
In a blender bowl, combine the chickpeas, nuts, add cinnamon and honey.
Step 5
Blend everything together until a homogeneous mass resembling shortcrust pastry is formed.
Step 6
From this mass, roll 20 equal balls.
Step 7
Sift cocoa powder and powdered sugar onto a plate, mix well.
Step 8
Roll the candies in this mixture, place them in a container with a lid or a box, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
