Chicken Soup with Quail Eggs and Chili Pepper
Ingredients
- Cornish Hen 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Water 0 qt
- Quail Egg 12 pieces
- Ocean salt to taste
- Mild Chili Spice to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the chicken under slightly warm water.
Step 2
Cut the carcass in half.
Step 3
Chop the carrot into small pieces.
Step 4
Place the ingredients in salted water and bring to a boil over high heat.
Step 5
Once the water boils, reduce the heat and skim off the foam. Cook for another 20 minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, boil the quail eggs hard.
Step 7
When the broth is ready, cool the chicken slightly and shred it.
Step 8
Peel the quail eggs and cut them in half. Add them to the broth.
Step 9
Return the soup to medium heat and crack in the 2 chicken eggs. Cook for another 1.5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 10
Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
