Ingredients
- Chicken Broth 1½ cups
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 1 piece
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Sake 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root ½ teaspoon
- Canned Corn 0 oz
- Red Long Chili Peppers 1 piece
- Shallot 1 head
- Spinach 0 oz
- Udon Noodles 10 oz
- Pea shoots 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large pot, heat the chicken broth over medium heat.
Step 2
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken strips without adding oil, as the chicken will release its juices.
Step 3
Then add the soy sauce and sake, which will give the meat an unusual flavor.
Step 4
Add the cooked chicken to the broth.
Step 5
Increase the heat to medium. Add ginger, corn, chili pepper, shallot, spinach, noodles, and peas.
Step 6
You can reduce the heat to low and simmer until the vegetables are soft.
