Ingredients

  • Rice 5 oz
  • Chicken fillet 0 lbs
  • Puff Pastry 10 oz
  • Cognac 4 tablespoons
  • White bread 5 pieces
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter 1 piece
  • Water ½ cup
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Spices a pinch
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Marinate the chicken fillet in a mixture of cognac, water, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Divide in half, rub half with salt and pepper, cut into small slices, and lightly fry in olive oil in a hot skillet until golden brown.

Step 3

Pass the second half through a meat grinder along with pre-cooked (fluffy) rice and crustless bread soaked in milk, season with salt and pepper, and add spices for chicken.

Step 4

Divide the dough into 2 parts, the base and the lid, roll out the puff pastry into a thin layer. Place it in a deep dish greased with butter and sprinkled with breadcrumbs, so the edges extend beyond the dish. Lay the prepared pieces of chicken on the bottom, then add the prepared filling, alternating layers, ensuring that the last layer is chicken.

Step 5

Cover with the lid, seal the edges of the base with the lid, make a hole in the center, and brush with pre-beaten egg. Place in a preheated oven and bake until done.
