Ingredients

  • Potato 2 pieces
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Turmeric ½ spoons
  • Crushed ice 1½ glasses
  • Poultry 10 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Bay leaf to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the peas and soak them in cold water for 1 hour.

Step 2

Wash the chicken meat, place it in a pot along with the peas, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once the water boils, skim off the foam. Cook for about 50–60 minutes.

Step 3

Peel the onion and carrot, chop the onion, and grate the carrot. Sauté in vegetable oil, then add salt, pepper, and turmeric.

Step 4

Peel and cut the potatoes.

Step 5

When the peas are cooked, add salt to the soup and add the potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender. Add the bay leaf. Stir in the sautéed onion and carrot, simmer for a little longer, and then turn off the heat.
