Chicken Liver Soup
Ingredients
- Chicken Liver 5 oz
- Rice 4 tablespoons
- Garlic 1 clove
- Vegetable Oil 2 teaspoons
- Onion 1 head
- Chicken Broth 15 fl oz
- Campbell's Beef Broth 10 fl oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves 3 tablespoons
- Ocean salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the chicken and beef broths and bring to a boil. Add the rinsed rice and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 2
In a skillet, heat the oil. Sauté the liver, then add the peeled and finely chopped garlic and onion. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the sautéed garlic and onion to the boiling broth, then add the cleaned, rinsed, and chopped liver and simmer for another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
When serving, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
